History Our Motto is simple. "We Serve." Olivia Lions Club, chartered in 1956, has served the community, state, country and world, through many efforts. Men and women, young and old, have joined our club, now more than 40 members strong. Some of the local activities we contribute to are Corn Capital Days, Spring/Fall fundraisers to help various local needs such as the Olivia National Guard Unit, Emergency Requests, Sponsorship of local Boys and Girls Scout Troops, Holiday Light Parade, K-3 Milk Program, Kids Against Hunger, Diabetes Screenings, Drug Awareness Programs, local Student/School needs, and Lifeguard Training. Olivia Lions also contribute funds to various state, national and international Lions programs such as the American Diabetes Society, Leader Dog, Hearing and Service Dogs, and SightFirst II.
