District Governor Brian

Lion Brian was born and raised in Bird Island, MN.  He is a second-generation lion watching his father Fabian for many years as a charter member and dedicated lion.

Volunteerism and civic duties have always played an importance in Brian’s life.   He has been a lion member since 1991. He has held Vice President, and President for his Lions Club and has been Gambling Manager for the club for seven years as well as served on many other Committee’s.  He has received the Lion of the Year Award from his club in recognition of his efforts within his club. The Bird Island Lions club has presented him with a Melvin Fellowship in 2002. Brian has been zone chairman for three years for District 5M4.  He has served as Leadership Chairman of his district for three years and is currently serving as Vice-District Governor of 5M4.  He has received the Lions Leadership Award in 2002.

Lion Brian has been serving as Multiple Technology Operations Consultant and has been in charge of the Multiple Website for the past three years.  He has also assisted in VDG’s training with technology sessions for the last few years.  He has given a number of seminars on leadership and technology on the district and multiple levels.

He is a charter member and president of the Bird Island Yacht Club, which is still looking for a lake to dock their boat.

His real pride and joy has been his family.  Kyle who is fourteen gets to golf more than Brian does.  His daughter Jessica (11) enjoys tap dancing and school and is as cute as a bug and will need to be kept away from boys till her Dad is ready.  Brian is married to Lion Lori who is extremely busy volunteering civically as well.  Her son Alec (12) is learning the fine art of sports and scholastics.  Brian and Lori stay in shape chasing Brianna (7) who will be a clown in her own right someday.  In there spare time Brian and Lori raise Exotic Animals.
